Verdello Lemons are a summer variety flowering in July and August. They remian green due to the natural ripening process and temperature changes, particularly the lack of sufficient cold temperatures to trigger the yellowing process. Their green colour does not mean that the fruit is unripe, less flavourful or less juicy than a yellow one. They can be used for juicing, cooking and garnishing just like yellow lemons.
