Matcha has become a favourite in trendy drinks and baking. This traditional Japanese green tea powder is made by slowly grinding the finest whole tea leaves into a bright green, fine powder. Its naturally high levels of chlorophyll and theanine give matcha a rich, distinctive and aromatic flavour. To make a matcha latte, whisk 1–2 tablespoons of matcha with water at 60–70°C until frothy, then add your favourite plant-based milk.
