Sapore di Sole Organic Nocciola Piemonte IGP are prized Tonda Gentile Trilobata hazelnuts, grown and harvested in the rolling hills of the Langhe in Piedmont, north-western Italy. The Langhe area is particularly renowned for its wines, white truffles and the celebrated Nocciola Piemonte IGP hazelnut. Parts of the Langhe's vineyard landscape are also included in the UNESCO-listed Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont.
Often referred to as the “brown gold” of the Langhe, this renowned hazelnut variety is celebrated for its exceptional aroma, naturally sweet flavour and fine, crunchy texture. Carefully selected and roasted to intensify their rich, distinctive character, they are also naturally high in fibre.
