This Biodynamic Spelt Flour is made from spelt grown according to biodynamic farming principles using traditional, seed-stable grain varieties.
Naturally resilient to diseases and pests, these varieties can produce their own fertile seed. After each harvest, the farming family saves a small portion of the grain for sowing the following season, allowing them to remain independent and preserve these valuable varieties year after year.
The remaining grain is taken to the Spielberger Mill, where the whole kernels are carefully milled into a flavourful, wholesome flour that stays as close to nature as possible.
