The rice for this wholegrain flour is biodynamically grown and ripened in the warm Italian sun. As rice is a wetland crop that grows with its roots under water, biodynamic farmers work in harmony with nature to keep soil and water clean. This allows the rice fields to develop into thriving landscapes with frogs, herons and rich biodiversity. Spielberger sources the milled rice directly from an Italian mill.
