Olives for this olive oil are largely picked by hand by several biodynamic growers on the Greek peninsula of the Peloponnese. After cold pressing (below 27 °C) in the oil mill, the oil is bottled in the Epikouros factory in Kalamata. The farmers follow biodynamic practices, observing celestial cycles, and are committed to give something back to the earth, such as compost. This results in a fertile and vital soil which renders high quality olives.
